How surprising more injuries only to key players. I'm so shocked.
Lanzini is due another injury soon surely.

I worry every time i see noble in the starting 11, or failing that the substitutes bench

Re: Obiang out for season
Got to laugh at hoe typical it is.

They're literally the only 3 players who have been consistent this season.

I didn't realise it was Brady's fault?

Stop panicking.

Collins in for Reid, Fernandes and Noble in for Obiang and Antonio.

more shit news in the shittest of seasons. what more can the cunt Brady do to make it shitter? sell the lease on the bowl and move us to Arbroath?

I get that. He had a mare that day....but certainly no worse than Cresswell at home to Bournemouth last season, or at home to Man City in the league this.

Not read the whole fred but has someone blamed Brady for Antonio's injury yet after saying publicly that she wishes Carroll was more like the unbreakable Antonio?

Did I read somewhere that Sakho is aiming to be back for the Hull game?

Re: Obiang out for season
Fernandes looks the real deal from what I've seen. Him and Noble in CM, Kouyate at CB.

Job done.

Well, at least Lanzini is still OK.

*10 ton weight lands on top of Lanzini*

Re: Obiang out for season
He was the one I worried about most because aside from Saturday (ironically) he has been our most consistent performer this season. Looked like a knee or ankle and obvious straight away it was bad one. :-(

All the planets are lining up for doomsday and if any team can manage to go down after being midtable and comfortable in March its West Ham.

Near on 60 years of one calamity after another makes me thnk this way.

Bilic if he was smart tactically (don't think he is) would get Oxford back (if poss) and look at setting us up to frustrate teams and play on the counter. But he wont. He will bring in Fergouli and attack Hull and we will get exposed in midfield and defence.

Kouyate at CB is the only upside in this. Its his best position IMO.

Fernandes is going to have to step up as is Snodgrass. Who will do the defensive work in midfield. We only had Obiang who was any good at it or prepared to do it :-(

Up front? Carroll only man standing? Gawd that tells you something.

Bilic may have to go fully towards the Walrus playbook. Defend in numbers, 5 in midfield and play direct even more?

Cannot see where a single point is coming from? Swansea at home?

agree Creswell needs to be on the bench, buck his ideas up, he has been very poor

He was absolutely awful on Saturday.
Get well soon, Hovis

Re: Obiang out for season
its worrying when the manager starts the right players in a match and they perform like they did in the first 20odd minutes

not sure its just the manager at fault here, shame we cannot talk of sacking some of those fuckers on the pitch

we need men out there now to grind out 2 wins, need to ensure we don't lose at Hull, fuck me a point sounds like a decent result

Eggbert Nobacon 1:44 Mon Mar 20
Re: Obiang out for season
Martinez can't get in the Oxford starting 11 so I doubt he's quite ready for ours

Cullen can't be recalled

Re: Obiang out for season
h

how on earth is anyone supposed to know that? generally yes a loan fee is paid for a long term loan and some, if not all, of the players wages are covered. if oxford isn't showing enough in training to dislodge one of the reading players, or is not fit enough as has been alluded to, then how does that make Stam a prick? i think i'd rather take his judgement on a young defender over yours?

terry-h 1:42 Mon Mar 20

Eggbert
Sorry but that prick Jaap Stam needs Oxford for the championship play offs,as well as 3 minutes per game before then.
Did Reading pay a loan fee by the way,and covering his wages as well?

JustAFatKevinDavies 1:35 Mon Mar 20
Re: Obiang out for season
for some reason im really not that concerned about any of them being injured for a bit and think we can cover them, especially pedders and reid.

no one has been pulling up any trees recently

collyrob 1:33 Mon Mar 20
Re: Obiang out for season
I'd be getting ox Cullen and Martinez back in the squad.

Sven Roeder 1:24 Mon Mar 20
Re: Obiang out for season
I'd be on the phone trying to get Oxford and Martinez back.
One striker in the squad at home?
And that striker made of glass

I see these injuries as an opportunity for some players who have been crap all season to lift their games and earn their wages.
Obviously Bilic sees them in training but I'd be thinking of bringing Adrian back if his mind is on the job.
Someone with some balls like Collins might be a good choice too.
We need some characters.
Noble doing it on the pitch instead of crying in the press would be a start.
